PV Panel Heat Transfer Rate Enhancement Using a Novel Heat Exchanger with High-Resolution Spikes and Dimples

PV cell electrical efficiency has an inverse relationship with its temperature. This study uses a novel and commercialized backsheet to reduce panel surface The consists of spikes dimples increase the air turbulence convection heat transfer rate. Experimentally validated computational fluid dynamic (CFD) models are developed investigate influence GripMetal on temperature panels PVT collectors. Under 1000 W/m 2 solar irradiation, it is shown that collector 2.25 mm height almost 10% more than flat plate channel. A maximum 22.5℃ drop was observed by using GM-based for slow-motion airflow. It GM efficient in low Reynolds numbers can enhance effectively. best performance at which suitable air-based applications.
